Thanks Simon, for putting forward the subject of Otters and their problems they cause to the fishing communities. In a way the wider pubic will understand our passion and pain of catch carp. Got problems on our lake at the moment that needs a permanent fencing solution. Hope to contact the Korda Boys for help in near future for advise.

Too effort, could have mentioned the impact they’re having on our rivers, and birds too.

They didnt mention you cant fence rivers , and how an otter keeps killing and if it doesnt get trapped it will wipe out the A list then the entire stock which we know are priceless and take time and money and energy

Jon give up worrying about the rivers on many the damage has been done and as the programme conviently ignores the plight on rivers so do many others

Trap and kill it’s that simple

The answer is simple. Rivers will find a balance, that’s natures way, they can only support Otters if there are fish in them.

If you own a carp fishery full of valuable carp put a fence round it. It’s that simple!
